MetaView C100
The Meta C100 is a camera based non-contact viewing system for weld seams or beads. It is the tested technology for manual weld torch positioning for submerged welding machines and for general applications which require a small but rugged video camera.. The system allows for easy integration with existing or new automated welding systems.
How it works
The Meta C100 is a compact camera in a water-cooled
housing, which sends high quality video pictures from the sensor, which is available in mono and colour versions, requires only a single coaxial cable for power input and signal output to a remote monitor.
Welding Industry Suitability
The system is designed to be easy to use and to deliver consistent and reliableservice. It can be readily integrated with most welding equipment including operation with circumferential and linear machines. The system is supplied as a viewing
system only, allowing the operator to control up/down and left/right commands to
existing motorised slides. The system can also be supplied with the optional slide pendant and controller as a complete guidance system with drives and slides.

System General Information
The operator is presented with a clear picture image of the welding area from the sensors. This information is then used to monitor the process or to make general adjustments to the position of the welding torch.
